Job Opening: Interim Library Director
The Yutan Library Board is currently seeking candidates for the position of Interim Library Director. This position has been established to ensure the continued management, operation, and efficiency of our library during the search for a permanent Director.
Position Overview
- Classification: Temporary, part-time employee.
- Duration: This appointment is at the pleasure of the Yutan Library Board and will conclude once a permanent Director is appointed or at such time as the Board deems necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the daily management of the library in accordance with the policies set by the Yutan Library Board.
- Provide all necessary financial documentation and administrative reports as requested by the Board, which includes preparing and presenting monthly reports directly to the Yutan Library Board.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $23 to $27 per hour.
- Benefits: As a temporary position, the Interim Library Director is not eligible for city-provided benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, paid holidays, or 457B retirement matching.
Note: All actions regarding this position are subject to the formal review and supervision of the Yutan City Council.
