Yutan Community's Zoning Code

On January 20, 2026, the Yutan City Council approved Ordinance #816 to adopt the  Yutan Community's Zoning Code , including the Official Zoning Map . Following state law and proper procedure for ordinance adoption, the ordinance will become effective on February 4, 2026. City Staff will continue using the current zoning ordinance (located here ) until February 4th.

FREE MULCH!!

The tree grinding from the August wind storm is finished and we have plenty of mulch for free!!  There are two piles and you are welcome to take from either.    If you have any questions please call the City office at 402-625-2112 we are open from 8-4:30 Monday-Friday.

As of 12pm on Fri, March 21st, City Office staff was informed that power has been restored to most of town, if not all. Telecommunications appear to have been restored as well. If power has not been restored to your home, business, or neighborhood, please continue to be patient as crews are working diligently to resolve the area-wide outages.

Temporary Tree Dump

Due to the weather today the City is setting up a temporary tree dump located at the Itan baseball field. It will be located on the North-West corner near the storage bunkers. Please see attached photo for reference. If you are unable to transport your downed trees please leave small piles on the curb and the City will work over the next few days to get them picked up. If you have any questions please call the City office at 402-625-2112.
