2026 Blight Study
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS - YUTAN BLIGHT STUDY
Notice is hereby given that the City of Yutan's Planning Commission and City Council will hold separate public hearings to receive public comment on a blight and substandard determination study for an area located within City Limits and a portion of its extra-territorial jurisdiction and to consider whether to designate such areas as blighted, substandard, and in need of redevelopment pursuant to the Community Development Law, NRS §18-2101, et seq. A map, boundary description of the study area, and the blight and substandard determination study can be viewed at the City Office or via these links: Map, Boundary Description, and Blight Study.
Planning Commission will hold its public hearing on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 7pm. City Council will hold its public hearing on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7pm. Both hearings will occur at 112 Vine Street in Yutan. All interested parties may appear and be heard; written testimony will be accepted if submitted to the City Office before 4:30pm on the day of the hearings.
